Indice Kp planétaire sur sept jours
Le Kp mesure l'agitation du champ magnétique terrestre sur une échelle de 0 à 9, à partir des relevés d'un réseau mondial d'observatoires. En dessous de 4, le champ est calme ou légèrement agité. À partir de 5, la NOAA ouvre son échelle de tempête géomagnétique, de G1 à G5. Le cadran donne le dernier relevé, les barres les sept derniers jours par pas de trois heures : survolez-en une pour lire sa valeur et son heure, cliquez un niveau de la légende pour ne garder que lui.

Source et méthode
Tous les chiffres de cette page viennent du centre de prévision météorologique spatiale de la NOAA, l'agence américaine d'observation océanique et atmosphérique. Ils sont demandés par nos serveurs et mis en cache pendant 15 minutes : votre navigateur n'appelle jamais la NOAA.
L'indice Kp est publié toutes les trois heures et couvre ici sept jours. La vitesse du vent solaire, le champ magnétique et le flux radio sont des derniers relevés, publiés en continu. La classe d'éruption est calculée à partir du flux en rayons X de la bande 0,1 à 0,8 nanomètre mesuré par le satellite GOES, sur les six dernières heures.
