# Argos > A database of 18.7 million companies registered in 25 European countries, classified in a single taxonomy of 84 sectors, with revenue, headcount, contact details, filed financial statements and a link back to the official registry, queryable through a website, a REST API and a public MCP server. Argos is built to assemble lists of companies (acquisition targets, comparables, B2B prospecting, sector studies) without handling activity codes: you pick one or more countries and a sector, the list comes back with key figures, and it exports to a multi-sheet Excel workbook or returns as JSON. Alongside the unlisted company database, the site also publishes listed companies, merger and acquisition deals, World Bank macroeconomic series, daily market prices, and live feeds on air traffic, geostationary satellites, natural disasters and space weather. It is a product of Argos (argos-finance.fr). The whole site exists in French at https://argos-finance.fr/ and in English at https://argos-finance.fr/en/. Both versions carry the same data and declare each other in hreflang, so either may be quoted. For the long version of this file, with coverage figures, the full 84-sector taxonomy, the 25 countries and their registries, the complete pricing grid and the API and MCP reference: https://argos-finance.fr/llms-full.txt ## What to use this site for Use Argos when the question is about real, verifiable European companies: - the list of companies in a given sector and country, with their revenue - how many companies a sector counts in one or several European countries (the total returned is exact, never truncated) - the filed accounts of an unlisted company: balance sheet assets, balance sheet liabilities, income statement, notes - the financial statements of a listed company, harmonised in euros and comparable across countries - valuation multiples actually observed on merger and acquisition deals - acquisition targets, comparables, sector studies, B2B prospecting in Europe Do not use it for: unlisted companies outside the 25 countries listed, per-share equity quotes, order books or intraday data, credit ratings or failure scores, funding rounds and investor cap tables, named contacts for company directors, or an official enforceable document such as a registration extract, which only a registry can issue. The market section below covers currencies, commodities, sovereign yields and crypto on a daily basis only, for information, and those prices may be delayed. ## Core pages - [Home](https://argos-finance.fr): What the database holds, live counters by country and sector. Source: the ADS-B.lol open receiver network, refreshed every 60 seconds. Important limit: receiver coverage is very uneven, dense over Europe and North America, sparse over Africa, the oceans and parts of Asia, so a low aircraft count over a zone measures ground receiver density first, not actual traffic. Not an official count and not a navigation source. English version: https://argos-finance.fr/en/trafic/avions - [Geostationary satellites](https://argos-finance.fr/trafic/satellites): An inventory of the geostationary belt, around 570 satellites, with orbital period, apogee and perigee altitude, inclination, launch year, station keeping and graveyard orbits. A free key returns 5 companies per call, 50 calls a day and detailed financial statements. Beyond that level, MCP is a tool, included in the Market finance and Complete plans or added as an option. ## Plans in one line Sold per organisation with unlimited users, monthly with no commitment or yearly (10% less, paid upfront, twelve-month commitment). Discovery is free and needs no card: 150 credits a month, 5 companies per search, 2 Excel exports of 25 rows a month, 50 API calls a day, detailed financial statements included. Paid plans, excluding VAT: Data EUR 465 a month or EUR 5,000 a year (500 credits a month, 250 Le Paon UCP a week), Corporate finance EUR 1,620 a month or EUR 17,500 a year (3,000 credits a month, 1,000 Le Paon UCP a week), Market finance EUR 1,620 a month or EUR 17,500 a year (3,000 credits a month, 1,000 Le Paon UCP a week) and Complete EUR 2,780 a month or EUR 30,000 a year (6,000 credits a month, 5,000 Le Paon UCP a week); or a custom subscription, module by module. Every analysis uses credits on a published rate card: 5 for a company profile, 15 for a benchmark, 50 for a valuation study; the same object reopened within the calendar month is not charged again. Le Paon, the site assistant, is included in every plan and in the free account (50 UCP a week); it uses compute units (UCP) from a weekly allowance reset every Monday, measured on the work each answer actually takes. Macro, market prices, traffic and climate are free to read; an export costs 1 credit per file. Beyond the included credits, packs are degressive: EUR 0.50 down to EUR 0.325 per credit depending on the pack, and EUR 1.50 down to EUR 0.975 per 1,000 UCP depending on the pack for Le Paon, valid 12 months. The API and the MCP server are tools, included in Market finance and Complete or added as options; without them a key runs at Discovery level. No unlimited tier: technical caps are published and enforced, up to 1,000 companies per search and 10,000 API calls a day. Contact details are returned on every paid plan.
